Central Coast Group Training is the Coasts leading employer of Apprentices and Trainees. Our host employer is a large organisation who is looking for an apprentice to join their team working in the Plant and Fleet section of the business. As the successful candidate you will be assisting and learning from tradesmen involved in the manufacturing and maintenance of all plant, vehicles and equipment. You will be required to supply maintenance/repair of plant and fleet assets, fabrication of truck bodies, trailers and tool boxes along with other light fabrication duties. To be considered for this position you will need to address each of the below criteria in point form in your cover letter when submitting your application. Criteria 1: Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team. Criteria 2: Proven ability in adapting to a diverse range of experiences and situations. Criteria 3: Willingness to complete or currently undertaking trade qualifications relevant to the apprenticeship. Criteria 4: Provide previous experience working on trucks, cars or welding experience. As the successful candidate you will have completed your School Certificate or Pre-trade equivalent, be able to work unsupervised, ability to adapt to different working environments and be a strong team player. This position is full time, Monday Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm, with a rostered RDO. You will be based in Charmhaven but will be required to travel with tradesmen to locations across the Wyong Shire. You will also be required to study or continue your study toward a Certificate III Engineering Fabrication Trade through off the job training.
