HunterNet Group Training Company engage apprentices and trainees on behalf of Hunter based employers, with the aim of achieving high quality outcomes through a partnership approach.

Currently HunterNet Group Training Company is seeking an Apprentice Fabrication/ Welder for our Host Employer located in Newcastle. The Host Employer have been supplying quality products to Australian Industries and many other industries around the world. Our Host Employer considers themselves to be “Leaders in the world of Fabrication Welding Technology with many years in the Manufacturing Industry.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include;

Brazing of drill bits as required

Measuring Interpret technical drawings

Various Welding Techniques

Non-destructive testing of drill rods

Use of power/hand tools

Assist with repair of pneumatic equipment

Sandblasting and cleaning of parts

Following WHS policy and procedure

Safety Awareness To become the successful candidate you will process the following skills attributes;

Current Driver’s License and reliable vehicle

Excellent communication

Must be very organised

Must be adaptable

Be able to work within a team and on own

Physically fit as some lifting is required

High School Certificate Desirable

White Card Desirable

Forklift Desirable
