A brilliant opportunity has opened up for a Maintenance Plumber located in Gateshead, Newcastle with our client on a full time basis.

Our client is an Australian owned company supplying thermal, acoustic insulation, refractory products, metallic fabric and rubber expansion joints for industries.

Here’s what you will be doing:
You will be responsible for applying insulation materials such as fibreglass, polyurethane and cork, to: pipes, steam generators, process vats and ducting.

The role is full time on a 3 month contract, working Monday to Friday.

Applicants will need their own licence and vehicle.

Duties will include:
Securing insulation with wire, metal netting, staples, and metal strapping

Using welding torches

Putting insulation into vessels and pipes

Occasionally assisting with sheet metal work Experience and skills required:

Experience with cold/ cryogenic insulation

Own car and licence required What you need for success:
Our client is looking for someone who is healthy and fit, has the ability to work unsupervised, and comfortable working outside, come rain or shine.
