About the Company:
Our client provides construction and engineering services to the oil and gas, metals and minerals, infrastructure and defence markets.
About the Role:
You will be working Monday to Friday between 7:00am to 3.00pm, plus overtime as required, including some Saturday work, all the while working towards obtaining your Certificate II in Construction – Steelfixing.
What does a day as a Construction – Steelfixing Trainee look like? No day is ever the same! Your duties could include:
– Dismantling and assembly of concrete molds
– Handling steel fixing materials
– Hand and power tool operation
– Tac welding
– Assisting tradesmen
– Learning about complex mold structures
You must have reliable transport and be available to work extended shifts as required. WHS White Card is essential.
About You:
The person we’re looking for enjoys hard work and is keen to undertake and commit to a 12-month traineeship. But most of all we are looking for passion and enthusiasm – the person we are looking for will have the right attitude, enjoy hands-on, physical work and must be willing to go the extra mile to impress. You will also be able to take direction, be a team player and have a genuine interest in a construction career.
