Qualified and experienced Boilermaker required to join the maintenance team
Our world class Moly-Cop operations, including Steelmaking, Grinding Media, Rail and Wire Ropes are the largest supplier of grinding balls and grinding rods in the world. With operations based both nationally and internationally, we are well positioned within the global market.
Applications are now open for a qualified and experienced Boilermaker to join the maintenance team in our steel making operations area at our Waratah site. In this full-time role you will primarily be responsible for ensuring equipment availability and reliability, carrying out a variety of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, fault finding and other tasks as required. This is a day shift based position; however, there will be opportunity to work over time when required.
To be successful in this position you must have a trade qualification as a Boilermaker, a demonstrated commitment to safety, good keyboard and computer skills and be an excellent communicator.
In addition to the above, while not essential, applicants who possess formal training and/or experience in pressure welding will be highly regarded as will those who have a forklift ticket, dogging, confined space and/or working at heights certificates.
Knowledge of CMMS software, such as SAP or Mainpac, would also be an advantage however training can be provided.
