This is a rewarding role for a strong BDM . You will be responsible for new business and managing the existing accounts. This role would best suit a confident, positive person preferably with experience in building or welding industry who can work from their home office.

Essential skills requirements:
experience in a similar role (building/construction/welding sales)

strong verbal and written communication skills

excellent organisation and time management

attention to detail

enjoy working independently and autonomously

a strong ability to seek out opportunities for growth

valid NSW drivers license

MYOB exo and CRM experience preferred

an established home office.

Currently, they are seeking applications for the position of First Year Boilermaker Apprentice.

Boilermakers produce metal fabricated products such as structures, frames, plate assemblies, pipe-work and vessels using tools, welding and thermal cutting equipment and fabrication techniques. Welds are undertaken to pre-determined standards and may be tested for compliance to required standards. Fabricators/Boilermakers use a wide range of hand and hand held power tools and workshop machines such as drills, grinders, clamps, benders and lifting equipment.

The applicants we are seeking are people who are serious about getting a highly sought after trade qualification and are serious about developing their career and future employment prospects. They will have reliable transport to and from work, a strong mechanical aptitude, a good comprehension of English and Mathematics and a commitment to Workplace Health and Safety. Objectives of the role:
In this role, you will primarily work in a large on site workshop, with approximately 40 trades persons and apprentices to learn from and work with.

Your duties will include and not be limited to:

  • Fiberglass and plastic repairing
  • Aluminum and MIG welding
  • Use of hand and power tools

Key selection criteria:
To be considered for this opportunity you must have;

· Basic understanding of mechanics and demonstrate an interest in this field

· Relevant work experience or studied relevant subjects at School

· Strong communication skills and work well within a team

· C Class Licence (Ideal, but not essential)

You will undertake a 4 year Apprenticeship and attend TAFE week blocks to obtain this qualification. The first stage of the selection process will involve a phone interview, and only successful applicants will be contacted. Final interview stage will be an onsite interview with the employer, and incorporate a small practical element related to the role.

The successful applicant will also be required to complete a full medical examination including drug and alcohol testing.
